You will head south from Tel Aviv, to Eilat, crossing the border into Jordan, and traveling towards Aqaba, to visit the local marketplaces and culture. Then you will head south for your overnight accommodation to check into the Bedouin campsite in Wadi Rum (possible to stay in a hotel in Aqaba during the winter months). During the afternoon sunset when the temperatures are cooler, head off on a Jeep Safari tour into the depths of Wadi Rum, this unique and mesmerizing desert landscape which the Nabateans ruled over for so long. The next morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading towards Petra, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive tour of the ancient red city including the famous highlights and more. After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace in Petra. Petra and Wadi Rum Two Day Tour Highlights
- Transfer from Tel Aviv to Eilat, transfer to the border with Jordan, traveling through the stunning Negev Desert. (This tour can be arranged privately with flight option, inquire within.)
- Be one of the first to cross the border and arrive in Jordan.
- Visit nearby Aqaba, enjoying the local marketplaces.
- Head towards Wadi Rum, check into your Bedouin Campsite accommodation and relax. In the afternoon, when the temperatures are cooler, head out on a Jeep Safari tour with a local Bedouin and your tour guide.
- Enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner, including Zarb, spreads, salads and more, and overnight in the Bedouin campsite. (Upgrades available.)
- The following morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before transfer to Petra through the desert highway.
- Enjoy a guided tour of the ‘lost city of Petra’ including the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), Tombs, Theater, Mountaintop Tombs.
- Enjoy free time to explore at own pace in Petra.
- Head towards the border and cross back to the Israeli side.

- Free Cancellation Most tours can be cancelled up to 48 hours before departure with no charge but only 5% handling fee. If the tour booking includes flight transfers, accommodation, or other add-ons, we will endeavour to cancel this portion of the tour without charge, however the decision is made by the airline or relevant supplier and we cannot guarantee a refund. With less than 48 hours remaining, tour cancellations are at the discretion of the end operator. No-shows are charged at the full amount.
