Our 4-day tour of the highlights of Jordan is the most comprehensive experience of the ‘Hashemite Kingdom.’ Our tour departs twice a week from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Our tour is a great option for people with a deep interest in Petra who are looking to explore Petra in depth and visit Petra by Night. This four-day tour departs every Monday. Your tour will start in northern Jordan in Jerash, the impressive Roman city. From there, you’ll continue to the Jordanian city capital of Amman, with time to see the Citadel, Roman Theater and markets. You will also visit Madaba and Mount Nebo, as well as the King’s way to Petra. Arriving in Petra, you might choose to to join the “Petra by night” tour and see the Nabatean city lit up by candlelight. On day three you will enjoy a full day guided tour of Petra, and visit the top highlights in this “lost city.” At night, you’ll get to experience a true highlight of Jordan – the Bedouin culture. You’ll spend the night at a fully equipped camp in Wadi Rum, where you will sleep under a sky twinkling with billions of stars. The following day, you will be free to experience the Wadi Rum desert at leisure, with time for optional activities such as hiking, camel rides or hot air balloons (subject to availability, must be arranged locally). Bedouin guides will take you to the desert reserve on the following morning for a Jeep safari. Before returning to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, there will be some time in Aqaba to explore the markets and learn what these southern cities have to offer to their visitors.
The $60 visa fee is waived for this tour and all of our three day tours to Jordan.
